About

The Ashfield Fire Department provides fire/rescue and first response emergency medical services for the Town of Ashfield in Franklin County, Massachusetts. AFD is a combiation department with mostly volunteer/paid-per-call personnel and one full time employee, the Fire Chief. We are committed to providing professional fire/rescue and emergency medical care to the residents, tax payers, visitors and guests of the Town of Ashfield. You can be assured that when you call for emergency services from the AFD, you will receive a timely response from trained, well equipped, and respectful firefighters and EMTs.
